Evolution - From Then to Now

Nadin West was established in 1991 by David Nadin and Craig West. They finished their apprenticeships in cabinet making within a couple of years of each other and coincidentally both found themselves out of a job after the companies they were working for folded. Driven by a passion for joinery they decided to start their own company and Nadin West was born.

Initially from humble beginnings, the focus was commercial joinery, such as high-end office fit-outs, banks, pub and club fit-outs, Universities, schools, etc. To keep up with client demand and changing market conditions, the business diversified and started to renovate and build kitchens in residential premises.

The commitment to quality and service as well as increasing experience in delivering high-end custom projects saw the business develop over the years into the premier joinery in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter regions. Hard work and dedication to delivering outstanding projects has been rewarded extensively with the team winning more than 50 building and design awards through the yearly MBA and HIA building and construction awards.

Pushing the boundaries of creativity and complexity, as well as a desire to continuously improve has seen Nadin West evolve into the modern incarnation that it is today. The team has grown to more than thirty staff including joinery and interior designers, estimators, draftspeople, project managers, joinery artists, machinists and wood turners, French polishers, installers and solid surface fabricators. Original members of the team Mal and Doug, who have seen it all, still oversee construction today.

These days Nadin West provide a holistic service to complete any commercial or residential project. Starting with design and finishing with installation we can fit out the entire space to the highest quality.
